They were kidnapped by Boko Harem, an Islamic extremist militant group, who opposed Western education because they believe it corrupts Muslim values. Some girsl have been released or escaped and as of May 2017, 113 girls are still missing. Access to education is one of the many struggles that women face all over the world.</text>
